Confidence Course













Trying something new is one of the best ways to gain confidence. When we were in Mexico a few years ago we tried surfing. We took a taxi about 45 minutes away and weren't sure if the driver was taking us to be killed or what, but eventually we made it. The waves were about 3 inches high! But don't worry, yours truly still got up and it was thrilling! I can't even tell you how proud I was. Growing up I never tried things because I was afraid of failing. I now recognize that there is much more to gain from trying new things even if you aren't good at them. It's like Gabba Gabba says, "I tried it, and now I like it!"

Project Fitness

Finding Confidence in Running

A few thoughts on this. Running for me has given me so much confidence. To be able to stick to a training schedule and complete a race affirmed to me that I can do anything I put my mind to. I love the feeling of being fit. I love the feeling after a run.
Lastly, a really cute pair of running shoes gets me excited to put them on and go. I love compliments on my running shoes. I'm not one who feels super comfortable in tight/cute exercise gear so shoes are my way of bringing fashion into my runs.

Purpose
